Business Plan Development: Integrated Functional Systems
Par-Tee Golf: A Unique Miniature Golfing Experience
As a junior business major at James Madison, all students are required to take what is known as COB 300 (College Of Business 300). Within COB 300, there are four different courses: Finance, Marketing, Management, and Operations; all in which are integrated to form a complete business plan. Within a team of six students, we are given a semester to research, form, and propose our business plan which must meet and reach specific requirements stated by our professors, in hopes of receiving a good grade and making it to competition. After all our hard work and dedication throughout the semester, we successfully completed the business plan, presented it towards investors, and made it to the first round of competition being in the Top 10 groups t notification that we did, in fact, make it to the first round of competition! More information on our status in competition will be coming shortly after we compete in January.
Attached is the final copy of our business plan:
I completed pages 5-8 including the product description, industry and competition analysis, market segmentation, and positioning strategy. I focused my efforts mainly on the marketing section, helping my other group members out with the promotional and pricing strategies and sales forecasts as well.
